Appearances of Christian Slater in MAD
MAD Magazine #307 • USA • 1st Edition - New York
Christian Slater's first MAD appearance came as a result of his role as the title character's brother in the Kevin Costner epic Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Writer Stan Hart and artist Jack Davis teamed up for "Throbbin' Hood: Prince of Heaves," which originally ran in MAD #307 (December '91).

Christian Slater does the interviewing and Brad Pitt looks goofier than he ever dreamed possible in this panel from MAD's Interview With The Vampire parody. "Intravenous With The Vampire," written by Stan Hart and illustrated by Mort Drucker, originally ran in MAD #335 (June '95).

Paired together for the first time since their breakout roles in 1990's Pump Up The Volume, Christian Slater and Samantha Mathis were reunited in the 1996 thriller Broken Arrow. MAD veterans Mort Drucker and Dick DeBartolo took the flick down in their spoof "Broke 'N' Narrow," which appeared - I kid you not - in the "ONWARD CHRISTIAN SLATER DEP'T" of MAD #347 (July '96).
