For two years in the mid-to-late '80s, MAD experimented with parodies of TV shows the magazine hadn't spoofed during their original run, with the "A BAD CASE OF THE RE-RUNS DEP'T." Bob Denver, Dawn Wells and the rest of the Gilligan's Island gang helped get the ball rolling with "Gigglin's Island," written by Larry Siegel for MAD #259 (December '85).

One of only two surviving cast members of Gilligan's Island (along with Tina Louise aka. Ginger), I'm sure Dawn Wells has plenty to say about the show, whether or not she's in character as Mary Ann. Sam Viviano illustrated this portion of the Mike Snider article "Shocking 'Tell-All' Books By TV Sitcom Characters," which originally ran in MAD #325 (February '94).
