Mort Drucker provided MAD covers to billboard the magazine's spoofs of the first two Harry Potter movies. Drucker also illustrated Desmond Devlin's parody "Harry Plodder and the Sorry-Ass Story," which originally ran in the issue featured here (MAD #412, December '01).

While Tom Richmond got the art assignment for "Harry Plodder and the Lamest of Sequels," it was Mort Drucker who once again illustrated the cover for the issue featuring the parody (MAD #424, December '02).

In one of her earliest MAD assignments, sculptor Liz Lomax expertly captured Harry Potter regulars Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Gary Oldman (via Alfred) and Daniel Radcliffe in this variant cover artwork for MAD #443 (July '04), which featured the magazine's parody of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
