Martin Bigum 
Martin Bigum (born 1966 in Copenhagen) is a Danish artist. Although he’s mainly known as a painter, he’s worked in a variety of fields, including writing, photography, music and set design.
After he became a successful fine artist, Bigum has never downplayed his love of comics and the time he spent at MAD. His work is at once easily available and cryptic and paradoxical, drawing from a wide range of influences. Like MAD at its best, he wants his audience to question the world that surrounds them as well as their own identity, and like MAD he does this by way of humour.
