Comment by Tom Smith:
An entire Collector's Edition devoted to Sylvester P. Smythe would seem to be a daring and risky endeavor, since Cracked's mascot would only have appeal to confirmed Cracked fans. As such though, as a kid, finding this in a used bookstore, I thought it one of the most special magazines I had ever seen. I was a big Sylvester fan, and this is quite a unique issue.
Inside you will find articles in which Sylvester is the star or main attraction, such as the famous "Sylvester for President" article from circa 1968. Not only that, but Mort Todd included some text pages detailing the origin of Sylvester and his changes in appearance during the early years. If that isn't enough, you get a full-sized jigsaw puzzle of the cover of Cracked #12, which itself was a jigsaw portrait of Sylvester by the great Jack Davis. Still want more? There is a full-color portrait of Sylvester (with three arms) on the inside front covers. A must-have edition for any Sylvester or Cracked fan.
