Here's a rare piece of Spy vs. Spy memorabilia. Produced in 1983 by Warner Books, this is a cover proof for the 1983 Spy vs. Spy paperback book, The Fifth MAD Report On Spy vs. Spy. This proof was made to check the color and printing clarity, and was supposed to be destroyed after the release of the book. But, a sticky-fingered elf kept it, and now here it is. It measures approx. 7" by 8 1/4". It does show a single hole punch below the "D" in the MAD logo, however.
