Produced in the late 1970's, this item is a handwritten letter sent from the MAD Magazine Art Director, Lenny Brenner, to the MAD Magazine artist, Don "Duck" Edwing. The letter was included with a packet of reductions prints, with instructions to "Call Al and he will explain what he wants". The signature on this letter is quite rare, as Mr. Brenner rarely signed his name. He either used one of two different stamps (both of which was a facial likeness), or, in the case he did have to sign his name, he always wrote it using his full first name, Leonard. This letter measures approx. 8 1/2" by 11"
