This is a super cool piece of MAD Magazine history. Produced in the 1970's or 1980's, this item is an original MAD Magazine rejection slip. A slip like this one was sent to prospective writers who submitted their scripts to MAD for publishing consideration. This particular example was never mailed, and comes from the collection of the late MAD Magazine artist, Bob Clarke. It has been folded, with a crease down the center from top to bottom, and it also shows handling and storage wear. But it is rare, as MAD Magazine "writer" rejection slips are virtually never seen. It measures approx. 7 1/8" by 10 1/2".
