Svante Segelson started freelancing as an illustrator in 1993, primarily painting with acrylics or gouache. In 1997 Svante created the cover for the first issue of the reissue of Swedish MAD with an image where Alfred secures the Swedish line of succession by marrying the Swedish princess. During the same period, Svante also began working with 3D graphics and animation, and 2000 he started the 3D production company Vectorfilm with a colleague. Vectorfilm produced, among other things, the intro movie for the famous game: Battlefield 1942 on behalf of DICE. Since 2006, Svante have continued freelancing as an illustrator and 3D generalist, and today he also create his own apps, which are available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Svante also build and sell pochade boxes to other plein air artists.
