Allison Beth "Allie" Goertz is an American comedy musician, writer and magazine editor. Goertz is known for her satirical songs based on various pop culture topics. Her videos were originally posted on YouTube under the name of "Cossbysweater" which has been changed to simply "Allie Goertz."
Goertz grew up in Long Beach, California, the daughter of an elementary school teacher and a web graphic designer and guitarist. She also served as a social media producer for @midnight, and is now an editor at Mad magazine.
