Writer Dick DeBartolo has a wonderful story about meeting John Schneider at a comic convention and getting a positive reaction from "Bo Duke" for MAD's parody of The Dukes of Hazzard. Angelo Torres caricatured Schneider and birthday-boy Tom "Luke" Wopat (in the driver's seat) for "The Dopes of Haphazard," which originally ran in MAD #219 (December '80).
