Here's a cool piece of pre-MAD / Alfred E. Neuman memorabilia. Produced in 1906 by the Anitkamnia Chemical Company, this is their annual 1907 tablet calendar. This calendar is titled "The Convalescent", and features two ladies and two children on the front. But, the back of the calendar features an early image of MAD Magazine's Alfred E. Neuman. In fact, this same image of Alfred E. Neuman would be used the next year by Antikamnia, for the front of their 1908 tablet calendar. This calendar measures approx. 7 3/4" by 10". This item is a rarity, and is hardly ever seen.
