Up for sale is an extremely rare piece of international MAD history: an official vintage Italian MAD bound volume containing the first 4 historic issues from the first series (1971). Published by Williams Inteuropa S.p.A., this volume features "i primi 4 famosi numeri di MAD" bound together under one striking Alfred E. Neuman cover. As documented in the images, the interior comic covers for Issues 1, 2, 3, and 4 are beautifully preserved with deep, bright colors. The pages are crisp and completely intact. The outer main cover shows typical light vintage aging, minor spine wear, and a small spot on the back. A top-tier center piece for any serious MAD collection.
