Abnégatus Scripto Keep it. I have mine too; Na ,na-na-na, na! What, me worry!
Demetrius Dillard Ah...the infamous Mad #5. To this day, I still can't figure out why this issue is scarce to many Mad collectors.

Sungkum Longchar Presidents
Robert McLeod Fantastic!
Demetrius Dillard I enthusiastically concur, Sandra Covill! Mad #31 is one of Mingo's most iconic Mad covers! For many years, Mad #31 was part of "The Soul Of Mad," a collection of a dozen covers that epitomized Mad.
Lorri Cook It's spectacular!
Jeffrey Wilson Ernie Kovacs!

Mad #4, 1953 (36 pages for a dime, cheap!)

Demetrius Dillard The issue that finally put Mad on the map...because of "Superduperman," Mad was able to start turning a profit!
Abnégatus Scripto OHHH, you are a "madictionnarrian"; I'll learn because I am a good for study "studentipidities".

Steven Ackerman First Mad I ever read completely, although it was in summer camp so I didn't actually buy it. I think Pac Man is pissed off because he ate Alfred, which gave him indigestion, which is also why he's not on the cover.
Tim Kelly Wasn't this the first issue in a number of years to not feature Alfred E. Nueman?
Roy Phillips Alas, old age has killed off my reflexes to the point that even solitaire is a challenge.
Augustus H Fields My neighbor gave me this issue many years later. I think I still have it but the cover is in deplorable condition by now.
Harvey Garrett I wonder if the sound of a cornered Pacman played when he died.
Alan Capriotti That was the cover of the first issue I ever bought and read, about 12 years old.
Peter D. Cook Originally Puck Man. Changed the name in fear on vandalized game consoles.
Jeannie Schonta I have this ish! Shortly afterwards TIME ran a similar cover with PAC-MAN on the front!
Patrick McMeen Hmmmm...... How can I make this about Trump?
Jason Palmer Still have that one.
Nick Novack All I can say is game over
Andy Watts I had this issue.
David Canales Cuantos mas EPN???
John McCall I still have that issue somewhere.
Joseph Ochoa RIP Masaya
Ess Maher And Galaga and Galaxian..
Arnaldo De León Chávez I KNEW THIS COVER WAS IN ORDER!
Erik Friday Lol I remember this issue!
Max Beilstein Now that's a character from our childhoods!
Justin Brock :v
Aaron Benjamin Leighlani Yazzie

Mad #1 1952

Mike Gugs Awesome , how much does this cost
Lachlan McLennan are you sure it isn't Iggy Sfortz?
Demetrius Dillard The issue that started it all! I have the first 23 issues downloaded on my Kindle!
Timothy Guetling Alfred E Neuman and I were officially born in 1956, however; I remember this issue! My older brother had it.
Craig Blackketter I seem to recall these being re-issued within MAD sometime in the 70s or 80s. Maybe as pullouts? Like the first four of them.
Weiler Dan Early MAD was in 10 cent comic book format. After it became a 25 cent magazine to get away from comics code of that era Archie's Mad House became the kind of comic book that early MAD was. :D
Demetrius Dillard If my memory serves, I believe Steven Spielberg owns the original cover artwork for Mad #1, along with other Mad covers that have parodied his films...his pal, George Lucas, also owns several Star Wars-related Mad covers.

Timothy Guetling DVD's from the 50's 60's 70's 80's, you were ahead of the game, stand up and salute your seat, the FBI/CIA wants in on that game. of course Alfred E Neuman is the Director!
Demetrius Dillard Nice! I want Absolutely Mad on DVD-ROM so bad!

It's a shame that the Ringling Bros. Circus went out of business. Alfred E. Neuman was earning good money working for them as a clown, and he did not even have to put on special makeup! ;-)

Burtman Mcburt Tonight. Tonight I will kill you all!!! That'll teach you to laugh at me !!!!
Devlin Domini Alfred looks normal. It's everyone else that seems weird.
