This is a cool piece of MAD Magazine and EC Comics history. Produced in 1964, this item is a b/w photograph of MAD Magazine associate editor, Nick Meglin. He is shown looking over some cover roughs belonging to legendary artist, Frank Frazetta, who illustrated a small line of EC Comic-inspired paperback books in 1964 and 1965 by Ballantine Books. This photo was originally published on January 10, 1965 in an unspecified periodical. It was later printed on page 60 of Collectibly MAD, by Grant Geissman. Measuring approx. 8" by 10", this item is in terrific display condition, with editorial notations on both the front and the back of the photo.
