This is the original front cover painting to the first issue of the Icelandic version of MAD Magazine. The Icelandic version of MAD premiered in 1987, and lasted only six (6) issues, ceasing publication in 1988. Any issues of Icelandic MAD are rare and hard to find, but original art is almost impossible to find, as there were only three (3) pieces produced (the front covers to #1, #2, and #3). This beauty measures approx. 9 5/8" by 12 5/8". A color printers proof of the published cover, Ink & watercolor on art paper, belongs to this cover art.
