Jacko had already racked up several MAD appearances (and two covers) before Angelo Torres caricatured him in "A MAD Look At The Fabulous 1980s," the last MAD by-line for veteran writer Larry Siegel. Co-written by Bill Fibbers (who 'dat?), "A MAD Look At The Fabulous '80s" originally ran in MAD #293 (March '90)

"Marrying Michael Jackson is only the seventh-most unstable thing ever done by a Presley." Let that punchline from "Even More Chilling Thoughts," the third edition of the long-running Desmond Devlin series, sink in as you peruse this Rick Tulka artwork. "Even More Chilling Thoughts" originally ran in MAD #354 (February '97).

One of the single-creepiest renditions of Michael Jackson came courtesy of Tom Richmond in the final panel of MAD's parody of The O.C. Written by Dennis Snee, "The O.D." originally ran in MAD #442 (June '04)

It wasn't Michael Jackson's first appearance in the MAD 20 Dumbest list (that would be MAD #461, January '06) but it's definitely his most striking. Mark Stutzman illustrated "The Canonization of Michael Jackson" for MAD #502 (January '10), which also featured an Alfred-ization of Jacko's famous bejeweled glove by Mark Fredrickson on the issue's cover.

All right, Mumblers - sing along to Scott Nickel's snappy "Thriller" parody from The Fundalini Pages of MAD #508 (April '11), illustrated by Hermann Mejia.
